Hey there i just wanted know, what is the best way to take out bugs with BT's? what units/vehicles would you take against them? are drop pods good to take? because i mainly play against a list that has bonesword/lashwhip warriors (6-7 a squad with Prime), the Tervigon (sits way up the back, behind cover), Carnifexes (in Drop Pods) & full squad of Ymgarl Genestealers (although i don't really mind them lol) to name a few units. Any & all help is well appreciated, thanx in advance.
Bring lots of missile launchers and lascannons of the big bugs are giving you trouble. Shoot them into the ground. Warriors die easily to S8+, and most AT weapons will eat up the bigger bugs when caught in the open. I wouldn't change my list any, or even really my tactics. Any decent all comers army should be able to handle a broad range of threats.
5 man terminators with 2 cyclone missile launchers each. Take 3 units like this and some las/plas troop choices. Preferred enemy throughout the army will make the PF armed termies good at combat if the enemy reach you.

thanx for the advice guys... i had the lascannons already but i never even thought about bringing a LOT of shooty, shooty stuff (plasma, missiles), termi's equipped with CML's i will do that next time lol & i also forgot about the S8+ weaponry able to wipe out the Warriors lol, but what would be a good way to get the Tervigon? ...drop pod in a Dread &/or a squad of Termi's... maybe? thanx again.
Either shoot it or ignore it.
I just thought about it how would a Vindicator or 2... or maybe even 3 do against them or would 3 of them be overkill? i haven't really used one at all... so that's why i'm asking thanx.
Vindicators are IMO only good against expensive units that the enemy player is scared to getting taken out en masse. Like Terminators! They're too unreliable to *actually* take anything out. Their real use is to control the movement of an enemy player that cannot afford to take the risk that you might roll well on the scatter dice.
