New to Grey Knights, was wanting ideas.

    Hey all,

I've just picked up the codex and i have been looking through it, come up with a few ideas for conversions at the moment. Does anyone know how hard it would be to move the storm bolter from the arm and onto the other arm? I was thinking of putting a shield on the arm that has the storm bolter and doing that to all power armoured grey kinghts. I was just would like some opinions and thoughts on this because from knowledge it hasn't been done.

The storm bolter is already separate on the sprue, so it would require zero effort.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong. All powered armor knights have wrist-mounted storm bolters which are molded in the arm. You must cut the bolter off the arm. I'm doing this now to make Warrior Acolytes.

<-----Thinks there may be some confusion between terminator and power-armour sprues.

The bolters are indeed seperate on termy-sprues - but NOT on power armour sprues. The hands are separate on power armour sprues - this makes it very easy to detach the pre-moulded bolter from the arm's wrist-cuff without damaging said items.

The storm bolters are not on some of the arms though. Like the psi-cannon off-hand. Some of those may be easier to convert.
