ok I recently took a closer look at the inquisitorial henchmen and I liked them so much I had to make a list to test.
=][= Xenos 96
-2 melta guns
10 interceptors 285
Corteaz goes with the DCA/Crusader mix and the =][= xenos goes with the DCA block. the interceptors ds hopefully within range of the servo skull and snipe enemy armour.
Looks great. I would put 2 meltaguns in each DCA unit just to get xtra antitank abilities in the unit and a crusader in each for the better saves.
Quorn! - Protein for the Protein God.
Ok here is a variant of the old list with revisions
=][= Xenos 63
-2 melta guns
-6 storm bolters
3/5 squads have a melta guns for anti-tank duties and the acolyte/jakero squad has the potential to have an assault multi-melta or to have artificer equivalent armour. the 3 man squad was a point filler and would be used to sit on an objective closer to my zone so I' don't have wasted melta weapons.
Ah... no Psykers? They're amazing units.
If you swapped out your jokaeros, or one and picked up points elsewhere, you could take a 5 man squad of psykers. Look at the potential for damage they can do for very little points investment.
Psykers are amazing.
Or what about 1 psycher in several units? I know their power is pretty weak alone but I feel the volume of large templates is more useful than one really strong one.
The only honorable options left to we combatants is seppuku or semantics...which amount to the same thing really.
Could do, there's nothing wrong with that strategy. I just like spending 30 points and watching lots of marine armour melt away, is all.
