So my Forge World order for some Kheres Assault Cannons and Cyclone Missile Launchers came in last week. I had a bit of a drive down to the Battle Bunker to pick them up, but I got them put together yesterday. On a side note 2 of the 6 items were incomplete, I was missing 2 barrels from 1 of the Assault Cannons and one of the Heads that come with Cyclone Missile Launcher.
So I thought I would share with you guys what I have gotten done and would like some C&C on the looks and what you guys think of this loadout. Now the arms are Magnetized so they can be posed differently and switched out.
As you can see I used some Toothpicks as stand-ins for the missing barrels.
Congrats on the Contemptors! They look great.
I myself picked up 3 Relic Contemptors with enough weapon arms for each in addition to Cyclone Missle Launchers. Magnetized the arms as well to switch them out as needed.
Planned on the following set-ups:
- Assault Cannon / Power Claw w/Plasma Blaster
- 2 Twin-linked Autocannons
- 2 Power Claws
- 2 Assault Cannons
All with Cyclones.
Didn't have any issues with any of the kits though.

You have to assemble the guns individually? Eww. Anyway looks nice.
Those look great.Where i in your position though,i would use cotton buds instead of toothpics.
Praise be to the Emperor!!
Thanks for the feed back guys. I got to use them in a game last night against some Orkz. They both ended up dieing from Nobs with PKs but they did some work while they were up and running. They would have done more too if it wasn't for those Lootas stunning them, I may need to invest in the Extra Armor next time.
I love contemptors. They are my next project. Love what you did, shows what some craftiness can do. Keep it up!
