Looking through my space marine codex the other day, i was inspired to field terminators in my army. the problem is though im just so put of by the actual models. to start with, they are basiclly all in the same poses, and the poses dont even look good. they are to boring and plain. i think that gamesworkshop should redo the terminators along with the new codex.

what are ur thoughts and opinions.

for a possible conversion i was thinking of chopping the legs of about the knee and reposition it in a more dynamic pose.

thanks for any comments in advance

    Don't worry.

New Terminator models are fast on their way. They are plastic and can be posed differently.

From what I know it's contrary to what has been said so far. Apparently it's at least a year until any Terminator releases. Unlucky dude.

Conversions are ALWAYS the answer, but then i'm partial...

At the risk of going off topic, subtle MODs can be better MODs, even little things like making one of them left handed can add a great deal of character, not to mention confuse other players.

Also look into older terminators, the puter ones from bygone days. I believe you can still order them special from GW with part numbers from their catalogs. Not sure where an online "Bitz" catalog is, but i know they sell old stuff for special orders. (i'm spoiled, i live in driving distance to the US headquarters so i can buy them in person, you may have to dig deeper tho)

Today on the GW website they are showing pictures of the new terminator models. The are starting to look like the grey knight terminators.
And I agree, the old terminators are really dull.

My brother picked up some an old terminator squad box and they were plastic. He put them together and realized the arms and torso dont even need glue, so now he has poseable terminators.

The final Models were at Games Day on Sunday. Early 2005.
