1. Do I have to paint my inducted IG in another scheme than my inq stormtroppers?
2. When inducting IG, Can I use Doctrines for the IG
and yes, I'm new to W40K...
1) Paint them however you like, but I'd suggest a similar theme if only to have a nice looking army. They don't have to be the same exact colors (and probably SHOULDN'T be the exact same colors) because they're different armies. My Stormtroopers are red, white, and grey. My IG are white and gray. They look like they belong together, but are clearly different.
2) Nope, sorry. You can only use regular IG. That means no carapace, no commissars, and no other snazzy IG fun.
I was looking at some Steel Legion Imperial Guard to Induct, paint them the standard colours for Steel Legion too. I don't think it would look too bad if the paint scheme between the two is drastically different, after all, they're inducted Imperial Guard. The Inquisitor probably won't look around for a specific regiment to match his current Storm Troopers!
Not that I'm saying this is bad! Paint them however you want!
Imperial Guard are great to induct for the extra manpower, and bigger guns! Even without the doctrines!
A flock of sheep led by a lion can win a battle but a pack of lions led by a sheep is likely to loose it.
