Played my first game as Blood Angels today. Mephiston got into combat with Commander O'Shavvah (Tau) and his 7 body guards in one squad. He killed 4, they hit back and did nothing, then they failed their leadership, and he sweeping advanced them. Killed around 700 pts in one turn. Hands down my favorite character ever now lol.
Cool paulofrosty, I've heard things about him like that. Wondering: what was the points leevel of that match???
2,000 pts a piece. I've already tweaked my list since then. I ran 3 Baal Predators, a Stormraven, 2 furioso's (one a librarian), Mephiston obviously, two squads of 10 assault marines each accompanied by a sanguinary priest, a drop pod, and a librarian.
In my new list I scrapped the stormraven for another squad of 10 assault marines + a sanguinary priest. I also removed some equipment add-ons.

Yep. That's fairly standard for Mephy.
In my games, high librarian Draco (counts as Mephy) has built an impressive kill count.
A few of his greatest hits are cutting THREE monoliths in half and then making the Nightbringer his b!tch in a single game.
Being assaulted by Abbadon the Despoiler and his unit of chaos terminators only to slaughter them all. In the following turn he had angry sex with their landraider. In the last turn he made a squad of Khorne Berserkers cry.
My personal favourite.
Killed Calgar, Tigerus and EVERY single infantry unit in a 2000pt game! Literally! When I saw how things were going I just used the rest of my army to take out his vehicles.
The dice gods were with me that day. That was cheese above and beyond Mephistons standard. He just moved from combat to combat for the entire game and slaughtered each unit in turn.
Sooo... This might be your first experience with Mephiston Cheese but it won't be the last.

I have a quick question : Can Jaws of the World Wolf kill Mephy (through luck) in one go??? that happened to me, and my brother convinced me that that is possible. But for a guy who came back to life, how is this possible. I was wondering if theres some rule preventing this from happening???
Yes. The counter you're thinking of is the eternal warrior rule, which Meph doesn't have and JotWW would ignore anyway. Space Wolves have a lot of exceptions to the regular rules. Can Jaws of the World Wolf kill Mephy (through luck) in one go?
Enjoy the winning streak while it lasts. Meph is great when the enemy fields few, high-value targets and little psychic defense, but the tide will turn once he faces armies with more "disposable" mindsets. Six penetration results against an IG Chimera? That's great, but the passengers will just take their pin test and then melta-fry him. Stuff like that. Even that Tau player will figure out how quickly the plasma&fusion suit configuration can bring Meph down.

Mephiston is fantastic against some armies, but as already stated he gets shut down hard by force hoods, and other anti-psyker defenses.
Last two games I've seen Mephy was killed in pretty unceremonious way before he ever got to do much. First game against Necrons by Imotekh lightnings and Annihilation Barge and second game against Grey Knights he took three wounds from perils and then got psycannoned down quickly. If he does get to assault, then he usually does rip things up pretty badly.
