Sure Daemonhunters can tool up to fight Daemons , but if you are doing the army to take on all comers , then you face an army with daemons , the sustained assault rule really kills you.
I killed some Furies , they then popped up next turn right near my Guard minions and started chopping them up !
Just having a whinge , I should tool up just in case I face some daemons.
nothing makes me laugh more than the poor ***** who put one squad of GK in his army, and had to face 3 squads of bloodletter... with sustained assault...
Sustained assault only hurts when the DH player isn't setup correctly and the chaos player has a ton of the those squads.
I don't see a problem with daemons chopping up IG. Nice meat shield in fact. If you have a firebase that just sits back, they're going to get it. Try dreads with ACs or PCs and CC/Incins as a fire base, then the daemons can pop up and find themselves in worse trouble.
shooty inqs make there presance felt here. give him two mystics and a sage (or 2) and let him take his free shot (or better yet use a purgation squad) youll get vp's like theres no tomorrow!
