Okay, so i have this plan. It involves WH and DH forming a bond (both fluffwise and actually) and playing as dual allies. My list, although not formulated would be:
2 Inquistors - one from each WH and DH, the mandatory one being from WH.
DHosts,DCA and one Ordo assassin...basically a full elites slot of assassins.
troops probably all IST, maybe 1:1 sisters/ist.
fast attack just use seraphims...i dont know what else i could do with Fast Att.
heavy- roll out the exorcist, immolator in my retribution squad...whatever i need.
so the jist is, I cant make an effective DH radical list using pure DH, it lacks power. IG inductees, I like, but i'm looking for another route, this being it.
So what do the other SoB's have to say about it? It's a WH army tried and true, with Dhosts basically and another Inq. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. I'll figure out the totals, weapons, etc. when I see that its' worth the effort (i'm so picky with my lists, i'll calculate and draw up for hours)
Thanks in adv.
Hey that seems like a cool idea, I was thinking of doing the same thing.
I can't bring myself to do it though because I can't work out how the Ordo Hereticus could possibly work with a radical DH. Creating Daemonhosts has got to count as witchcraft. I think even though it's legal (as far as I know) it's definitely against the spirit of the battle sisters and the OH to allow them to fight alongside Daemonhosts.
Just like with the GK's, I reckon having Daemonhosts in a force should make it illegal to field Battle Sisters.
Doesn't it even say something in the codex along the lines of no loyal marines would be seen dead near a daemonhost? Sisters are at least as pious as marines.
But the rules say its OK so maybe I'll get over it...
I think if you can get over the fluff thing it would be an awesome army on the battlefield
Sounds like a plan for victory to me. Try it out and tell us how it goes.
