hey, as for now, i've played only WH:FB and i've decided to start collecting WH40K
i've studied codexes of many armies and i've decided to play WH. I know that
it isn't good decision fo a newbie but i like challenges
Now i have some money so I want to buy some stuff
what do you think about such an army:
Inquisitor lord with retinue
10 Battle sisters (including sister superior)
10 Inquisitorial strorm troopers
10 Seraphims (including veteran sister superior)
3 Penitant engines
10 Grey Knight Terminators ( Deamon hunters)
The core of this army would be a pack of terminators, exorcists trying to eliminate most dangerous enemy's units from long distance and seraphims with grenades
trying to eliminate enemy's heavy units
So what do you think? Does it have any chances to survive vs following armies
Dark Eldars,Khorne, Emperor's Children and Blood Angles?
I have an additional question, and answer to it will be very important to me:
I've just read in codex that Deamonhunters may be included by Sisters of Battle,
but there is no single word about including them by Witch Hunters so:
is it possible to have army as listed above i.e. including SoB, GK Terminators
but also not-SoB witch hunters units as Inquisitor lord, Arco-flagellansts or assasin?
This question is so important to me because i've just bought GK Terminator Squad
and now i would like to know if i should sell them...
This post is no longer valid, i'm new to the forum and i didn't notice that
a topic answering my question already exists
its alright, atleast you cought your own mistake. You can even fix your mistake by using the edit button at the bottom of your post.
You list looks fine. When I saw the world eaters listed as your aponent, I was worried. World eaters are NOT an easy aponent for witch hunters. The two penitent engines can make all of the difference though, just as long as they don't have any powerfist.
I have had good results with witch hunters versus Dark eldar and Blood angels, and I havent even used an exorcist yet. Lots of good things have been said about it though, and it looks like an Ideal tank for fighting dark eldar. I have also faced a lot of emperors children. If you concentrate your fire correctly you can probably take out Emperors children without trouble.
