Making my Iron Hands army I ran into something of a dillemma. It seems to me that including servitors with a techmarine makes them and him quite vulnerable to enemy fire. Since the servitors make a unit with the techmarine, they can be picked out for purposes of shooting. While this may not seem like a big deal, the fact that servitors have 5 and 4+ armor saves has me worried. I would like to give my techmarine HQ some servitors to help fix dreadnoughts and to help in combat but I'm afraid he'll just get picked on and the servitors will die too quickly. Even in combat, a 4+ save does not seem very good for something with a powerfist that will take hits before it even gets to strike back. Does anyone else have an opinion or experience with this issue?
The enemies of the Emperor fear many things. They fear discovery, defeat, despair and death. Yet there is one thing they fear above all others. They fear the wrath of the Space Marines!

It doens't work like that, you have to be in btb contact with the vehicle to repair, but the advice of taking a razorback is a good one, use it to shield him and the servitors from incoming fire and to provide some covering fireWhat about if you open the top like you do when you shoot from the top of a tank, so that the vehicle becomes open topped?
