So I was reading my codex the other day, and I came across info about the Justicar on page 29 about power weapons. It says that his NFW counts as a Power weapon in addtion to the ususal strenght bonus. Now, correct me if im wrong, which i probably am, does this mean that Justicar's can use power weapons without any points addition, now i know it sounds dumb but it says nothing about having to pay the extra points for it :hmm:
No, it just means that the NFW he carries is a power weapon. The upgrade is included in his cost. It's the same with GK Terminators - their NFW's count as power, and the cost is included. For a GM, it's a Force & power weapon, and again, cost is already included. You can't give any of them another power weapon and NOT pay, if that's what you're asking.
oh so the cost of the power weapon is already included in the ones who can carry them?
w00t i reached 100
Yes. Every GK comes with their stormbolter and NFW (unless you change their weapons). The chart on that page just shows what the NFW represents in different hands.
At more points than a Termie a justicar should have a bloody power weapon!!!!!!
