Is it possable to make a legion of the damned army if so how, i really dont have much of an idea on how to go about doing it, probally useing stuff from the new space marine codex but i dont think they have stats on ghosts.
I am no heritic, I am the savior of mankind, the voice of the emperor, cursed, hated, and hunted by my former brothers the dark angels, I now go to terra to save all mandkind, I am but a shadow, I am Cypher the fallen.
Look around for their stats on the google or in the GW site. I've seen tac squads on the gw shop before, but I don't have a link to it. Other than that I haven't seen any other things just for the legion of the damned. Maybe you could try using greenstuff and some bones from those skelletons in fantasy as ornaments on your tanks and other vehicles since the normal tac squads have bones on their armour.
Can Cursed founding legions make use of chapter traits?
Hive Fleet Furi Kuri 32/21/4
Tomb Kings: 8/5/2
Im in ur Halo, killin ur covernantz
there's a chapter approved article on cursed founding. i don't know wether that still stands, but my guess is that their unique ability is all the benefit they get.
Yeah, this is excellent! TY Angel of Rust!
Graktoof the vile, victor of 1000 battles, partial credit to 1000 more, and sore loser about the other 8000...
You could use the new codex to field an army with similar abilities to the Legion of the Damned.
Take drop pods for everything, LOD used to "fade" onto the battlefield, represented to deepstriking, Drop Pods are the closest thing available.
LOD used to get a 6+ save, and from memory there is a trait which does something similar.
Restrict yourself to infantry and dreads.
Will edit this post tomorrow, when I have checked out the codex.
Greetings from Planet X, I hope you enjoy your day.

In answer to the question, yes, an army can be made of them.
The full rules for LotD and all of the cursed founding chapters appear in the GW publication "Chapter Approved 2004" which was only released earlier this year so the rules are still in full effect.
There are 2 ways the LotD can be used, as an ally for another chapter (where they appear as they wish but they also disappear on a similar whim),
or they can be fielded as a chapter in their own right, with full organisation chart etc, and a couple of unique units called Cused Knights and Abominations. If fielded as themselves they do not disappear at random.
However, if taken as a chapter in their own right, following the Chapter Approved rules, you cannot use any Chapter traits.
Terminator Based Custom Chapter
yes you can make an entire army of them... use vampire lords skeleton regiment and buy a dread and their LotD tac squadx2 and a LotD devastator squad and you're set.... if you have the cash, at £55 ($110) a tactical squad they are not cheap, for some reason they are cheaper if you biy them from blisters... dunno why, but GW are like that
Yes you can make an army of them but you would have to do some searching for the models.
And it might be cheaper to buy the models in blister packs instead of the boxes like Log said. (There are many things like that, don't know why :hmm: )
