    hi there i have been reading about BA for about 2 months now thinking up lists etc and i was wondering if this list would kick alot of ass against nids.
    1500 pts list

    HQ-240
    DC Chaplain
    term hnrs
    jump pack
    iron halo

    Death Company
    jump packs

    Dreadnought

    In heavy support i choose three tanks because reading previous battle reports of BA the devastator squad usually gets the black rage problem. the two whirlwinds i think will be great for killing hordes of nids and trapping them!!!!! the baal pred will also be an infantry killa. i really aimed for thgis list to be troop heavy and it is ok. the dreadnought will get into atrtack as fast as possible while it travels behind a tact squad or somthin.

    Oh yeah b4 i go i was wonderin if a new BA codex is gonna be realeased soon or is that just a false rumor goin around.

    You don't have to decide on which missile your whirlwind carries until the game starts. Also if your whirlwind black rages then it cannot fire, so its just as bad as a devestator squad and you got 2 of them

    BA dreadnoughts are heavy support choices, not elites. Furioso dreadnoughts are elites, and they cannot have assault cannons

    Also, I'd ditch the multimelta in a tact squad and get a lascannon

    Why does your chaplain have an iron halo? He's a chaplain... You should give him some more wargear also, the Grail is an amazing item and Death masks are useful as well

    Two whirlwinds shooting the mine attack could seal off the ends forcing the nids into a nice crossfire. Id dump the multimulta on the ls, what armor are you going to take out? Might as well take the rending assault cannons. Also might want to rethink the flamer in your tac squad as nids are usually to fast for them to be of any value.

    ok if a whirl wind suffers the black rage and moves then the blasts move more so dont have whirlwinds in a blood angels army and yes the dreads a hvy sup choice unless its a furioso.
    P.S. Blood angels rule, the anger lets us ignore wounds ...hehehe

    scattering 2d6 wont matter in 1500 pts against nids..bound to hit something.

    hey about that whirlwind suffering to blak rage i thought that tanks did not suffer to it????

    if i drop multi melta from ls and multi melta and flamer from tactical squads what else should i get

    ok lol so what should i do for special wepons in tact squad i mean what should i use. and with chaplain what extra war gear do i give him?????

    Lightning Claws would be good for your chaplain.

    If you plan on assaulting with your tac marines, go with a meltagun against power armored enemies, or a flamer against lightly armored opponents.

    If you don't plan on assaulting with them, take plasma guns.

    No you CANNOT fire the whirlwind if it moves since it is an Ordanance Barrage weapon, hence my statement about black rage screwing it over
