Hey all, as I have been assembling my daemonhunter force I have found myself having a difficult time to decide how best to represent a Brother Captain, or Grand Master in my army. I do not have hardly any experience with modeling and would greatly appreciate any advice and examples of what you do in your army to represent them. I do have a box of termies...I was planning on using the Terminater Sergeant to represent a Brother Captain...could I use him to represent a Grand Master as well? What are some neat ways you have used to make your Grey Knight Hero's stand out on the table top?
It's really easy to make em stand out. If they have a lot of armor, I like to make it a different color. Maybe golden armor instead of the silver. Make sure that they still have some colors in common with your other troops or they will look out of place. As far as representing a BC or GM...that's all up to you. I don't use Corteaz in my army, so I'm going to try to do a conversion from his model and use him as my GM.
Thanks for the ideas Torquie! Anyone else have any good ideas for modeling Brother Captains and Grand Masters?
You can just get BC Stern, like I did... He is wearing Termie Armour, and the only differences are that he has a cape, no helmet and a book. You can expand on that, if you wish.
Henceforth no man shall set foot upon the world, and all around shall be set sentinals to ward away unwary spacecraft. We must accept that this place is lost to us forever, and is now the eternal habitation of abomination.

do a scenic base. my brother capt has part of a berzerker on the base been melted and has part of a skelly in the armour looks awsome.
Yeah part of making your leaders stand out is really depicting on the base thatthey are a leader. You can also always add a banner pole by drilling in the top of the termie on his backback and insert a bannerpole from the common space marine sprue. But thats just one idea.
