under the new space marine codex it is possible to have two narthiciums (i think thats how it is spelt) in the one comand squad. does this mean that you can ignore two wounds? :hmm:
Oshovah is very mad DEATH TO THE HERRITICS!!!!!!!! AUNSHI RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
its not me that scares you, its your inability to accept differences
ive got a sm army but no codex. just curious as to whether the apocatharies can have powerweapons/fists?
The Holy Bolter
998. model bolter: Godwyn pattern with ammo counter, sinister/dexter lock mechanism and sickle magazine with 30 rounds of .75 calibre bolts with diamantine tips, depleted deuterium core & mass reactive detonators. Fires in 4 round bursts.
"A bolter is a treasured weapon; but in the hands of a Space Marine it is a divine instrument of the Emperor's wrath"
ONLY Veteran or Tactical squads can upgrade their vet sgt to apo...
so no, a command squad can only have one apo...
So my Tac squad can be lead by a Apocethary??ONLY Veteran or Tactical squads can upgrade their vet sgt to apo...
Thats Awesome! (Y)
Yes if you read the trait system and pick that trait. You can tjust upgrade any of your squads without the proper trait
BA command squads can have two nartheciums, but that's about it.. I like putting it with terminators tho as that really annoys my opponent

I assume you are doing this with the high priest. It must be noted that other armies have no way to take an apothercary with terminators.
Mentor of Space Marine Commanders far and wide.
Efficiency VS Point Cost VS Ease Of Use - Your best bets:
1) Chaplain led Assault squad - 2 plasma pistols, powerfisted sergeant
2) 8 man Devastator squad - 4 missile launchers
3) Land Speeder Tornado - HB + AC
Under the old system you could detatch your appothocarie from the command squad and have him join any other unit. Not sure if you still can, but I dont see why not.
breath, sight, squeeze.
now double tap just for grins
and Another One bite's the dust.
A bolter round for all that oppose the Emperor.
Apothicary isnt treated as an independent character anymore. But i looked at the codex and can i no longer have my standered bearer and apothecary have power weapons and other upgrades? Because that would make me sad...

If you give the whole Command Squad terminator honours, then the specialists may choose equipment and weapons from the Armoury.
And since the medi-pack now has a 6" range, it is possible for one squad to be affected by 2 apothecaries - in which case you could ignore 2 wounds taken by the squads in that radius. Note that's 2 wounds in total, not 2 wounds in each squad. Or even 3 apothecaries, letting you ignore 3 wounds.
All the old Specialist Games resources are currently being uploaded at the Tactical Command forums, and you can find them here: http://www.sg.tacticalwargames.net/fanatic/.
Obviously I meant the Sanguinary high priest since I mentioned Bloodangels as the chapter.
Apothecaries are pretty nice now, but I still don't see them used much. Like I said about the only use is putting the high priest in my terminator squad. Detaching used to be good, but not legal anymore (Never really was legal, just an optional rule)
