Welcome to Librarium Online!
Simple poll whats your fav power and why. I like Fury of the ANncients because in a game against Eldar it pinned Banshees, Rangers and Warp Spyders. It also manages to do quite well against toughness 3 armies and can be used as a more offensive power then depending on the opponent failing a pinning check. However of late im using Fear of Darkness..and IMO it is the best spell. I used it against Necrons and almost made a full squad of immortals run off the table (short an inch !!. If you can cause some casualties (under half) and then use it you can really screw over your opponent..and thats against ld10 !! I can't wait to try it against an army that doesn't have good ld.
Since my Librarian is being tooled up for close combat, Veil of Time is the choice power for me. To be able to reroll anything is awesome and only enhances his deadlyness
The Holy Bolter
998. model bolter: Godwyn pattern with ammo counter, sinister/dexter lock mechanism and sickle magazine with 30 rounds of .75 calibre bolts with diamantine tips, depleted deuterium core & mass reactive detonators. Fires in 4 round bursts.
"A bolter is a treasured weapon; but in the hands of a Space Marine it is a divine instrument of the Emperor's wrath"
Yeah I tried that combined with a familier and termie honors and he absolutly destroyed 5 fire dragons with an exarch (not overwhelimng an enemy but the amount of rerolls for hit really helped). The reason I don't use it anymore is because using a psychic power means I can't use the force weapon to instant kill characters.
Yeah. Vortex of doom also rocks because it's tooled after a FB charachter unique spell. Putting that over a unit of something important like a Chaos character in a unit of termies, or something like that, is the easiest way to win a game.Originally posted by 311@Dec 30 2004, 22:46

Definantly Veil of Time, Being able to reroll all my Hits, Wounds, and Saves is vastly superior to the Might of Heros which most people give their Librarians albeight its a little pricier, though worth it IMHO.
I voted Fury of the Ancients. Although I don't have a Librarian in my forces, when my IG have faced them this power has definatly done me the most damage. Once it managed to damage and pin 8 units  something than then led me to loose the battle
veil of time...why...because you walk up to a chaos Obliterator and in one turn youve got a massive destruction bot that has died...hehehe and if there are 2 or 3 in the squad...if you get lucky...bam
P.S. Blood angels rule, the anger lets us ignore wounds ...hehehe
Fear of the Darkness for sure. Why? Try this. Get a Term Lib and drop pod him into enemy lines (doesn't matter his retinue). Hopefully he'd arrive on turn 3 or 4 so that u have time to crap his flanks with Fast attack units. So ur opponents troops are bunched up in the center and suddenly Morale test for everyone at -2 Ld...OUCH!
