How do you play to get the maximum out of your terminator squad?
Big squads? Small Squads? what guns? my main enemies are tau, eldar and DE.
Im not extremely experienced with terminator squads (I play Space Wolves and their squad rules are different) but it seems to me that against the armies you listed you would probably want very assault oriented terminators.
If your terminators are going to have a hard time getting into action (if they're on foot for example) then you may want to take a larger number to make sure enough make it to your enemies lines.
I suggest keeping them cheap and geared for close combat. Consider drop podding them or some other way to get them into combat quickly.

I thot termies had deep strike automaticly. Neway, ya assult termies seem gud. The only problem is that a railgun will turn them into radioactive pile of molten slag b4 u can touch nething w/ yur termies. Basicly, termies r good against DE and CE, but not againts tau.

I use 5 termies with 2 assault cannons and deepstrike them by a character with a teleport homor. That way they get in without being fired upon. AC would be dest against your opponents as it will ignore there armor save.

Against Tau, if you want to take terminators take the shooty ones w/ two assault cannons, you can rip up squads of TAU easily and plus they have redning which can really help against suits. Because with assault termies, if you lose your transport or walk them, you WILL be out manuevered by the suits, trust me i know it sucks alot. Hope that helps.

A normal squad perferbly with flamers and assualt cannons deep struck right behind their fire warrior or broadsides squads and watch how quicly their entire army dissapears. This is comming from a tau player and i assure you it HURTS!

PM me any fluff or pictures on the adeptus custodes you can find!!!!
Off and on I play my deathwing army. Basically the principal idea is to use the minimum squad size of five and fit as many heavy weapons in that I can.
Also, though terminators have powerfists, it's better to use terminators as a mobile fire base, because once they get into close combat they'll be swinging last so it'll be quite likely they'll lose numbers, hence diminishing the efficiency of their fists.
if you wanna maximise the efficiency of the termies then use the a 3 man termy command squad with 2 ac. then use assault termy squads and deepstrike them inot the enemy ranks...
the smaller the number the easier it is to make them a waste of points..

Remember that terminators with powerfists don't have to strike last, you can turn them into the secondary weapon and strike at normal initiative, although you will be strength 4 and not ignore armor saves. Use the power fists when you need them, or have one or two power fist while the others shoot normaly, its all your choice.

I agree with Ebon Hand, only use the powerfist if you need to. Basically they strike twice at S4 I4 which is the equivalent as the termis bashing their opponents with their guns or something. Basically like the cyclone missle guy before the acqusition of his powerfist.
