Has anyone here done a Hero Bash like the ones for Fantasy? Did you use a Space Marine hero? After recently reading Marneus Calgar's stats, I have to say he's the best Hero-Bash hero possible. Four attacks and four wounds? Artificier armor? Storm Bolter? TWO POWER FISTS?! Christ almighty, he's a wrecking machine! Add to that a good ranged weapon and his special rules (NEVER EVER EVER FALL BACK! All this for not nearly as many points you would expect.
Si em, tow en can de lach.
Tak! Tak! Tak ah wan, Tak a lah!
Mi tow, can de lach.
Mi him, en tow.
Really? What if a Deciever used its Decieve ability?(NEVER EVER EVER FALL BACK!)
Ezekiel would kick his ass anyway. 3-4 Attacks with a Force Sword? Any one of which could instant kill him, and being that Marneus uses Artificer armour and not Terminator armour, I dont think he has any Invulnerable save. Also, since power fists always strike last, Ezekiel could kill him before the guy could even blink.
I saw an Arena of Death match online, between just about all of the Warhammer 40k characters, but it was broken as hell. They limited the maximum points to 299, which conveniently allowed them to put Abaddon in, whilst keeping the two C'Tan out (Because they knew the C'Tan would spike his ass five ways from sunday).
Anyway, it was pretty obvious from the start what with that absurdly broken sword of his. They say Necrons are cheesy? What about a sword that automatically kills anything in one hit no matter how many wounds or how tough it is? And automatically penetrates vehicles? And all from someone with I6? The whole thing was a bloody farce.
imo dante and logan grm are better
but marneus clagar is good too
but compare them to chaos...they are nothing (
Its not exactly a farce Nightbringer, considering that you have to give a person permission to use characters (IE him) in a battle and the C'Tan require no such thing.
If yea don't want to play someone like that, just gotta say no
