im playing black templars and they dont run away from the enemy only forward. But if a tank shocks me, whow will that affect the running thing. Will i run away or past the tank. It is a moral check so i pas it in close combat but what about the tank shock???
Hope you can help me.
running forward into a tank seems rather illogical, even to the most rapid of Templars
when it happens in a game, i assume they simply move to the side as if they had passed
that is what i thought but tank shock isn't close combat so they can't pas it like te rule says.
well what i understand about the rule is.
u have to test it, since it isn't HtH combat.
if you fail it, you run, in your case if would be running forward
that's what dennis told me as well.
the rules state however, that u must run to the nearest enemy unit, which would be the tank.....
like i said, i just play it that they run away, but it would be justified to think they just move out of the way (and probably spit at its sides while they are at it)
well if your fallback route is to the nearest enemy unit.
then you would be running in a somewhat wall.
then the unit is dead.
otherwise the crossfire rule wil be in effect, killing the unit as well
if i run into an enemy unit ist sweeping advance. Not crossfire. I DO NOT FALL BACK!!
