At which point does a blessed weapon become worth the high point cost and the fact you must give up a potential attack to take it (as it is a two handed weapon)?

I believe the Blessed weapon is best when your Cannoness has to go toe to toe with a high toughness lord.

With her measly T3 she can't really afford to go for any strike last option (Hand of the Emporer, Eviscerator)

It's become the trademark weapon of my jump pack cannoness Alita.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.

It is worth every point. Don't forget that a blessed weapon is also mastercrafted. Personally, I'd rather lose one attack and wound easier.

I did overlook the fact that it is also master crafted. That definitely makes it worth the points. Thanks!

oh yeah, I agree with every thing thats been said. I would also like to mention that this blessed weapon makes your Cannoness a close combat monster that even some chaos lords have a little trouble with.

with just the blessed weapon, no
but if you give her a full retinue and combine that with the Act of Faith that gives her unit S +2 then you may have a chance(21 S5 hits and 4 S7 hits) but you will be hitting at I 1.

I think you might need a little more help than that (such as a Spirit of the Martyr) since at an Initiative of 1, there might not be much left to fight a CC monster after it goes.
