3) Land Speeder Tornado - HB + AC
I'd love to read the follow up of Chaosbrynn's SM Bike Tactica I but it seems to have completely disappeared. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Same here. There was no post.
Found the first one:
Don't know if that includes his update, nor the location of the second one.
Yes, I have read that one, I am looking for "SM Bike Tactica II: What to do with your bikers." It shows up in the internet archive for librarium online in the tactics article section from December 2004. The archive shows the link, but there is no archive of the article
While some concepts may be similar, you're probably better off seeking a more up to date tactica. Seeing as how this thread (and by extension, the article) was posted in January 2005, much of the data contained within will be so out of date it won't really be useful.
Likely, but I'd like to judge that for myself. While codicies and rules have changed, the core that is SM Bikes is still the same. The changes are nowhere near as drastic as the removal of las/plas squads for example.
I'm afraid we may have lost that one. There were a couple of epic server crashes a while back, as I recall, and a number of posts and articles were claimed by the warp, and since Chaosbrynn is no longer with LO, we can't ask him to reproduce it.
Course, there's another option. We could... write a new one.
Now me, I don't know bikes well enough for this, but if anyone wants to take a stab at it, perhaps in a new thread, PM me and we can look into getting it added to the index.
