    Hi there, I am going to make a fluffy Tanith army, and I would like to hear some tips on modelling (how to make them stand out from normal catachan or something) and I would like to know what units ar good and fluffy for Tanith.

    Infantry and lots of it!....try to fit snipers in where you can (I suggest using the doctrines to get one in more or less every squad)

    For heavy weapons keeping in line with the fluff I would suggest Missile launchers (tread fethers) and autocannons (.50s) in the heavy weapons squads and again snipers where you can...

    As for the modeling, simply make some cloaks out of Green stuff and make sure to paint all of their fatigues in black.....and avoid the most common mistake, don't paint the capes in camoflage....they should be piebald (black and white patches) for that is the way they are written about in Ghostmaker....

    according to fluff each platoon should have an autocannon, missle launcher, sniper rifle flamer and meltagun

    Possibly not every platoon but I agree with you there for the most part, also it would be easy to drop the meltaguns as they have not been used by the Ghosts since the first book....

    per platoon make 4 squads
    one with flamer
    one with thread feather
    one with .50 (autocannon) and
    one with sniper and give the lieutenant a trademark item (camo cloak) and give as many guard as you can the upgrades you can take
    dont take any heavy weapons squads but you could take 2 special weapons squads with flamers as these are the only specialist squads i remember the ghosts using or give them demo charges
    give one of your lieutenants a honorifica as this represents you favorite sergeant out of the books and if it is say varl give him bionics and a power fist
    i think you should work in that direction

    oh yes almost forgot give the command squads a vox and dont use to many models with 2 close combat weapons keeping with the fluff and if you want to make mkoll's platoon dont give them any upgrades except for sniper
    and if you want more demo charges just take a second command platoon in that way youll have for example rawne and corbec on the table

    according to gus of tanith each ghost platoon is 25 men strong and works as a unit in its own right
