ok I looked all over the forums but found nothing on this.

what are the stats on the GKD psycannon ? I own the DH codex but can't find the stats anywhere :hmm: . I have been getting a DH army started and of coarse want to have a dread backing them up. But i want to know all the facts about the thing.

please reply
or reply to cyann76@yahoo.com

Thanx

I'm guessing it's like when a term uses one and it always fires 36'' even when it moves.... corect me if I'm wrong <_<

ye thinkin bout it, that would make sense, as heavy weapons can still be used on walkers even if they move

A psycannon on a Dreadnought would stay at 36" all the time. You're also correct about it's cost and stats, same as a regular one. It really isn't a good weapon for a GK Dreadnought, as cool as it may seem, because you can give the same weapon to any of your GK. Twin-linked Lascannons, Multi-meltas, Plasma Cannons, and Assault Cannons are all better choices.

except, psycannons ignore inv. saves, making them slightly preferable

Not really, as an AC has more shots, rends, and the only time ignoring inv saves will be even noticable is against daemons and shadow fields.

Baratos is correct. Ignoring invulnerable saves isn't as amazing as people think.

Having a lower AP is better, since more models use Armor saves than Invulnerable saves.

Also, the whole point of the weapons I listed was that they were anti-Tank weapons. Daemonhunters need anti-Tank help more than they need another psycannon.
