hehe lets see.... I name my Canoness Saint Arika, but for official names...

Saint Alicia Dominica Saint Lucia Saint Katherine Saint Mina Saint Silvana and Saint Arabella. Those are the ones off the top of my head.
Most important rule when facing any army with the Imperials is that you have to play like you have nothing to lose. Go big, or go home. Play like you have a pair. You cannot fight the enemy with subtlety or else you will get demolished.

I do, but only for Tournaments.
I add butchered latin to make them sound good and either a female latin or biblical name e.g.
    Canoness Commander Divinus Aurora
    and
    Canoness Commander Divinus Benedicta
    etc.

Ok. Names for Sisters of Battle.

Pretty much any ancient Roman womans name is acceptable. let's see...

Aemelia, Agrippina, Antonia, Aurelia, Ceacila, Claudia, Cornelia,
Drusilla, Fabia, Fausta, Livia, Lucia, Octavia, Pompeia, Porcia,
    Semprona, Servillia and Veleria

Or to give them a clerical feel, Biblical Hebrew names are good.

Abigail, Ada, Anna, Ariel, Bethany, Bethesda, Carmen, Chloe, Dalia,
Daniela, Deborah, Dinah, Edna, Eve, Eva, Gabriela, Joanna, Josephine,
Judith, Leah, Madeline, Magda, Maria, Mary, Marilyn, Michaela, Naomi,
Raphaela, Rebecca, Ruth, Sarah, Selena, Seraphina, Tamara and Zara

The Quakers also used to name their daughters after virtues. They sound good too.

Charity, Constance, Faith, Felicity, Grace, Hope, Joy, Prudence and Temperance

These are just sggestions. At the end of the day go with whatever tickles.

Only two in my convent have been named yet. Jackie Brown and Battle Sister Alita.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.

    Mab the Invulnerable!

She used to be my cannoness, and earned her name by drawing the fire of a dozen lascannons and 2 squads of Space marine bolter fire (at 12") without dying! She truely was invulnerable.

Darkwarlock7 is right, generally any old female names will do. I tend to name my Sisters are female realatives :my mum, aunty, gran, and cousin. This just adds sepcial sentimental meaning to my army. ^_^

All right, kay you got the biblical parts right. Medieval would also really
work well. Southern eh? Jezabell? dunno I named my cannoness, Cannoness
Delphine. Any european names or latin names is bound to work.
