I am playing against Chaos Space Marines, Nids, and speed freek orks for the first time in a couple of days. I was wondering if you could give me some pointers on how to play against them?
Sadly, my army list is pretty locked down, but are there any specific maneuvers I should stick to?
What do you mean by your army list is locked down. Can you post the list so we can give you pointers about what to do because its hard generalising when the SM list is so broad.
The Holy Bolter
998. model bolter: Godwyn pattern with ammo counter, sinister/dexter lock mechanism and sickle magazine with 30 rounds of .75 calibre bolts with diamantine tips, depleted deuterium core & mass reactive detonators. Fires in 4 round bursts.
"A bolter is a treasured weapon; but in the hands of a Space Marine it is a divine instrument of the Emperor's wrath"
well, i say stock up on the heavy bolters and assault cannons. Also take a few ordnance weapons if you have 'em. The nid, and ork numbers (and vehicles) will drop from heavy bolter and assault cannon fire, ad the ordnance can annihilate tham. The chaos is harder...get a unit of bikes with melta weapons if you can (and an HQ like a chaplain) and run it up behind the chaos tanks. The turbo boost will give your bikers invulnerable saves, and the melta weapons mean you can annihlate their tanks, before assaulting their firepower squads (the chaplain will save your loins here)
Never judge someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes...by that time they'll be a mile away, and have no shoes
