First post! This is meant like an introduction to all the Space Marine Masters and Commanders out there, so we all get to know each other a bit. Please write a couple of lines about your Space Marine Force; what chapter, favorite units, how many points etc.
Well I'll go first, I command a Dark Angels army, have ca 8000-10000 pts total. Ca 3000 of those are purely Deathwing. The sad bit is that I havn't finished painting the mini's yet, the reason is that I just can't stop buying more, so I never gets started painting ( spend all the time gluing) and the work amount is just getting bigger and bigger.
I personall favor the Interregator-Chaplain w/ jumppack and Assult Marines because of their great mobility, not to mention the Chaplain is very good in CC.
'But for corruption thou hast made Belial, an angel of hostility. All his dominions are in darkness, and his purpose is to bring about wickedness and guilt. All the spirits that are associated with him are but angels of destruction.
I have about 3000(+)pts ultramarines. And tomorrow they will kick some blood angel but =) we will play a 4000pts battle to decide which of the chapter whos the best. My favorit unit, hmm. I think it is one of my tactical squads. It concists of ten marines with a plasma gun and a missile launcher.
I also just started a space wolf army. The army will consists of three sq mounted in rhinos with some longfang and predator support. I plan to build it up to 1500pts
Ultramarines second company
well I started out with spac emarines about 1 years ago, and I decided to go with a home grown chapter doradus guard.
Doradus guard are 3rd founding black templars, they ariginally were a crusading black templar force, but their ship crashed on Doradus, a dusty, nid infected desert planet, they lost contact with the rest of the fleet and the rest of the BT's assumed they where dead. After 1000's of years on Doradus their geneseed mutated slightly and the memories to the BT slowly faded away. This is where, for unknown reason, their color sheme changed from black/white to black/green. After all those years they managed to get contact with the imperium again, but they are now a new chapter.
Well, this is some fluff about my chapter, I know its not very well written, I should write down what I have in mind about Doradus guard decently one day or another
Anyway, I got about 3000 pt of marines and I really like preds

well, well, well another dark Angel player, i play with a 3000+ pt army and enjoy beating my friends, Tau, Imperial Gaurd, Chaos, ultraMarines, blood angels, Catachcans, and Orks. I personally like my converted grand Master Azbodan(leader of my army) he is basically Azreal with a plamsa pistol on the other hand, i'm trying to get a pic...
Hi guys, ive been with marines now for about a year or so and play a custom built chapter [which i'm still yet to write fluff for ] called the Doom Fists, a 5th founding Imperial Fists chapter based near the eye of terror. I currently have about 5000-5500 pts worth of minis but i suffer from the buy more, don't paint! disorder so only about half of them are painted as yet
As for favourite unit....probably my 2nd Company Commander Rethel who slays ass in cc (2 L.Claws, Art Armor and Term Honors) or my Devastator Squad.
Hey guys ive been in 40k roughly since may of this year had a nilla marine army since then. Named them Deus Ira which is latin for Gods Wrath painted them like Storm Troopers. they are often called the marsh mello marines :x. The fluff on them is they are a pre heresy darkangel spin off after their fleet was in a warp storm they crashed on a harsh desert planet cut off from the Empire there they were helpless in helping during the horis heresy and after the fallen angel they no longer would call them selves Darkangles instead took up the name of the Gods wrath they feel that the blood of the Marines is no longer pure and that the God Emporer sent them there to train the righteous. They have recently been reabsorbed in the empire but will openly fight another mairne chapter that shows to be unpure.
My total army point range is unknown im one of those compulsive buy but dont build guys . I generally use a 1750 army that shows great potential but when i test ran them they got threw in a 4 player team carnage where the chaos fighting me had a nasty hq that ate through 2 tac squads and a suped up lib . I should eventually post my army list.
My space marine army is Ultramarines.
It consists of 1 10 man tactical squad, 1 8 man scout squad, 1 dread nought with twin lascannon, flamer and power fist, 1 bike mounted chaplian and my captain (a converted blood angels captain)
My favourite is my dreadnought! IT kicks ass!
Hey I Field Bloodangels..no one is better!! I have somewheres around 8k point army...My main army consists of My 3 Dreadnoughts(1)Furiouso)...3 tac squads..Brother Captain Tycho...a Vet. Terminator Squad..Apothecary..Techmarine and Librarian..and Death Company w/ Chaplain and last but not least my 2 Baal Class Preds and 4 Rhinos..3 Whirlwinds, 2 LandRaiders, 1 Bike Squadron and 2 Lanspeeders(1TornadoSpeeder). My favs are my DeathCompany cause they are the best at close combat and the leading Chaplain of the company with 23 captain kills..all with his Plasma Pistol and Crozium and only 5 deaths..hehe  :twisted:The Inquisition and the Administratum say we are weak because some of us have given into the Black Rage- they are wrong! the Black Rage makes us strong, becuase we must resist its temtations everyday of our lives or be forever damned!
I have my own home-made Codex Chapter.
Here goes with the fluff (beware... it's long...)
The Remigo Chapter (formerly known as the Ashen Star Chapter)
The Remigo Chapter are most likely Third Founding Ultramarines (although they stubbornly claim to be Second Founding, details follow)
The Chapter has it's homeworld on the planet Rêmex-Nidûs in the remote star system of Taria Gavrua in Ultima Segmentum.
They are relatively new to the Administratum on Terra who register them as being only about a thousand years old. This is, however, angrily contradicted by the Chapter itself who claims that their history dates all the way back to the aftermath of the Horus Herecy. Many flaming arguements have been exchanged due to the Chapter's claim to be one of the last eleven Primogenitor Chapters of the Ultramarines.
Neither the Ultramarines nor the Adepts on Earth accept this claim (and despite the fact that the Ultramarines have no recordings of this the Remigo Chapter are registered as Third Founding in the files of the Administratum on Terra).
Never the less, the Remigo Chapter praise the memory of Roboute Guilliman and several shrines and temples on Rêmex-Nidûs are devoted entirely to him.
According to the Remigo Chapter the entire Chapter (back then known as the Ashen Star Chapter) was travelling to the star system of Jova-Chez (Jova-Chez was the designated home-system of the Chapter) shortly after the Second Founding when their ships encountered several Tyranid behemoth space hulks. The aliens attacked in great strength and even though the Space Marines held off the attack damage to the ships were so bad that they were forced to crash land on the uncolonised ocean world of Ajemeu in the Taria Gavrua system. Over two thirds of the Space Marines were killed but driven by their instinct for survival the remaining Marines set up floating stations built from the wreckage of the ships. All communications were lost to the Imperium and all power was gone but the Chapter endured and using their weapons as ores they travelled north and settled down on the only spot of dry land on the planet, a large, volcanic island on the north pole. It was after this amazing display of willpower that the Ashen Star Chapter changed its name to the Remigo Chapter - The Rowing Chapter. Climates on Ajemeu were much in changing due to the volcanic dust and the location of the island. It was on this island that the Remigo Chapter stayed alive for several centuries until the techmarines finally constructed a ship that could transport them off the planet. From Ajemeu they travelled to the neighboring feudal world of Esoa where they quickly siezed control and began their recruiting. However, the lack of technology on this forgotten planet did not aid them in their desire to re-establish contact with the Imperium. Their custom built ship was not built to withstand the vacuum of space for very long and therefore the only travel that was made was between Esoa and Ajemeu. The hostile environment on Ajemeu was perfect for Space Marine training and it became the new home planet of the Remigo Chapter. They re-named the planet Rêmex-Nidûs - the Nest of the Rowers - for it was in truth their home.
It would take several millennia before technology on Esoa, aided by the techmarines, reached the point where contact could be re-established with the Imperium who was, to say the least, surprised to hear from Space Marines of a completely new Chapter (all previous records of the Ashen Star Chapter had been lost due to their disappearance so long ago). However, it was soon accepted that they were indeed Space Marines - no matter what they were doing there - and they were registered as being Third Founding Ultramarines due to their praising of Roboute Guilliman.
Their colour scheme is grey with blue shoulder plates (The original Ashen Star Chapter colour was dark grey with black shoulder pads but despite the change in colour the Iron Star themed Chapter Badge remains the same as a symbol of respect towards their revered Primarch whom had given it to them). They still follow the guidelines of the Codex Astartes but their use of tactical markings is relatively ancient and has not changed much since the founding of the Chapter.
Since their return the Remigo Chapter has fought many Imperial campaigns and continues serving the Emperor from its home planet of Rêmex-Nidûs.
It's long, but I simply LOVE making fluff for my armies...
