Okay, so I'm currently working on an inquisition force comprised of IG with GK allies. Now, the presence of the GK gives it the inquisition feel. However, my IG do not really look the part. I thought this would be a better place to ask for advice, because you guys probably do more with inquisition type details.
So, I showed my newly-painted Leman Russ to a friend, and he said "I didn't know you were doing a traitor guard legion." Inquisition and Traitor Guard both have red and black color schemes. That's when I realized I would need to go the extra mile to theme my IG.
So, I painted some script on my tank (CLEANSE, REPENT, etc) but I'm looking for a way to make the other units feel the part. I'm going to be adding purity seals to my guardsmen once I get some putty. Anyone have any other ideas?
tack on some purity seals and such... lil-icons of good things....bon't make the make um look spikey, make them look orderly and neat... add some silver to the black and people will tell the difference pretty quickly, Blakc/red = traitor & black/red/silver = inquisitorial I dunno why...
Yeah, I do use some silver details.Originally posted by InquisitorMarcus@Feb 23 2005, 02:33

With the Leman Russ, one of the decals is a hand about to throw a lightning bolt. I thought this might be a good Inq icon, as a popular image of God's punishment is him throwing a lightning bolt. Does it stand for some other chapter I don't know about?
How about the =I= signal on everything
