I have 109 Points left to use in my 1500 point army. I have 3 tac squads, 1 dev squad, 1 Dreadnought a chappy with jumppack, 1 Assault squad, 1 scout squad and 1 landspeeder.
My army is very troop based so I was considering taking the infitrate ability for the rest of my tac squads and since I took traits that heavily favor using infantry I thought that this would be a good idea. But then I looked that I could get another scout squad for the points, a captain, an so on with alot of other options. In your opinion what is the best buy? Or what is the most useful?

Simple solutions are to add a small tact squad or a scout squad with a heavy weapon. If you are thinking about moving your guys forward to attack them I would put two tacts in two rhinos but this sounds like a shooty army.Originally posted by Sanctus@Feb 23 2005, 12:14

If you build a man a fire he will be warm for a night. If you set a man on fire he will be warm the rest of his life.
I would add a whirwind, and bump up a tac sqad sarg to vet sarg with combi flamer.
breath, sight, squeeze.
now double tap just for grins
and Another One bite's the dust.
A bolter round for all that oppose the Emperor.
Power fists in Tac squads will mean the differance between all dying from some nasty Daemon Prince/Hive tyrant and killing it or at least causing a couple of wounds, infiltrate generally takes you toward the enemy, and these dudes will seriously help there. Otherwise I would have to go with Chaplain Stephen, you are liable to be swarmed, whirlwinds seriuosly help there plus they make your opponent spread out allowing your squads to pick on just afew of them in combat allowing you to possibly kill all of them within 2"
