Ok, I hope this isn't a question that has been asked already. It says that the LotD uses Deep Strike before the mission starts if its not allowed. However, it Deep Strike rules are in use, do I have to Deep Strike as normal, or can I do it all before the beginning of the game(and live with the restriction of staying of their deployment zone)?
So...do I have to Deep Strike normally if I don't want to?
Emperor have mercy on those who stand against me, for I shall not.
I believe this post was already covered, and to my knowledge LoTD has to always deep strike/ start in reserves. I think its in their rules, that apparation thing.
40K-Beakies(9-14-4),Guard(4-7-2),Orks(34-12-11). FANTASY-Dwarves(15-6-7),Beasts (14-14-1), Skaven (17-17-10) DoC (6-1-2). CYGNAR (28-15-1)
The Legion Of The Damned MUST enter play by Deep Striking.
However, they do so at the beginning of the game. Follow normal set-up procedures but instead of deploying within the normal deployment area, you Deep Strike your squad onto the board anywhere other than in the enemies deployment area. You may however scatter into their deployment area.
This rule applies to ALL Legion Of The Damned units, including vehicles, dreadnoughts, bike units etc... etc...
