I've just started a SM army and I'm gonna buy more stuff soon but I've only got a limited amount of money so I'm not sure what to buy next.

Here's what I've got at the moment:
    1 Chaplain
    2 Space SM sergeants
2 Normal SM guys with flamers
2 Normal SM guys with rocket launchers
19 Normal SM guys with bolters

I'm not sure to get a tank or a Terminator squad or something else-some much choice yet so little money!!!!

I would avoid terminators especialy with small armies. I would get some type of vehicle. In my opinion I would get a dread or pred. Then I would either get some bikes, a transport vehicle, or some land speeders. After those two choices I would get an assault squad or devestator squad depending if you want a shooty or cc army. You could always just get both if you want to have a more balanced army.

Im with talon on that. As far as newbie play value goes a dread or pred will ad the most to your games. Getting more infantry will feel pretty redundant for you. Adding a dread or pred will bring new rules and new situations for you to encounter and this is probablly your best idea when starting an army. It will give you an even better idea of what to get next.

    Cheers!

Efficiency VS Point Cost VS Ease Of Use - Your best bets:

    1) Chaplain led Assault squad - 2 plasma pistols, powerfisted sergeant

    2) 8 man Devastator squad - 4 missile launchers

    3) Land Speeder Tornado - HB + AC

I agree with red_talon termies you should avoid with small armies. I would recommend a Dreadnought or a Rhino/Razorback.

I would suggest not getting termies because with a small army they are just a big point sink in the beggining i would also avoid the rhino because it ir only a transport so to me not much use in the beggining i would go with the dreadnought, vindicator, preditor something (i would get annihilator)

    Dreadnaught or Rhino/Razorback.
You can also find a way to fit them into a list, and are more than worth it for their points cost. Excellant no matter what size game.

Librarian, definately the new codex has made them uber c/c gods, alos the command squad is quite a nice buy as well, assualt squads normally earn there points back and possibly a Land Raider/predator/demolisher/dreadnaught.
