Are scouts any use as i am thinking of getting some.

sure this has been covered before(check back threads) but yes, scouts are useful.
Every single unit in the game is good, just needs to be used for its intended purpose.
Scouts are great against high toughness things when armed w/ sniper rifles, not bad at CC, when tooled, and are cheaper than marines and get to infiltrate.
so ya, they're good.
16,000+ of Eldar (only need flyers)
7,000+ of Nids (want heirophant)
6,000+ of Space Marines (need rever titan)
4,400+ of Cygnar (all models for the faction)
1,500+ of Legion (just started)
Yes scouts are very good, as the person above said check some other threads as I am sure there have been some with tactics on using scouts, try the search. So long as you have a prupose for them and give them to tools for that job they are really good.

1) Chaplain led Assault squad - 2 plasma pistols, powerfisted sergeant
2) 8 man Devastator squad - 4 missile launchers
3) Land Speeder Tornado - HB + AC
