I want to know, can you put something on a model and not count it in the rules? LIke I put a pintle SB and an HK missile on my Rhino just for the looks. Can I say that the Rhino doesn't really have them? I think the rule is that the upgrade has to be represented on the model, not that represented upgrades must be counted...
dude add and convert what ever you want to any model as long as you tell you oponent before the game thats its for looks, or it counts as what ever.
Most people i know do that and i've seen some strange conversions
Alright, now i have no fear to add as many guns as I can to my tanks! Moooore.... Guuuuunsss...
Perfect example, in a Rogue Trader this last week many players used Rhino's that had the Hunter Killer missile and Dozer blade modelled on them because it made them look sweet. Rarely, anyone had them actually in their list so during deployment we went unit by unit and explained the WYS stuff. Worked fine.
40K-Beakies(9-14-4),Guard(4-7-2),Orks(34-12-11). FANTASY-Dwarves(15-6-7),Beasts (14-14-1), Skaven (17-17-10) DoC (6-1-2). CYGNAR (28-15-1)
The WYSIWYG rule does not work in reverse. It simply states that any equipement and weaponry a model has must be represented. You may add all sots of non-sense and never count it in game.
