I really need some direction with my Black Templars army, I was wondering if anyone could cough up a good Black Templars army list. I have recently been playing most against some infantry-heavy friends of mine that are Tau and Ork who like to ally. Help on where to go next would be greatly appreciated.
You can do a search for Black Templar lists, or post your own list and ask for tips. There are plenty of people around who will come to help. Make sure to put what you're up against, and what you want your army to do.

I won't give you a list. That is wrong. LRCs are good in 1500 pts plus. Remeber to take veteran squads and Assault squads. Those are really good for BT.
There is a better assault army though (IMO). Three good options for SM:
Blessed be the warriors, Be swift as the wind, Flesh Over Steel, Death Befor Dishonour.
It is a pretty good idea. Fly in with Bikes and Assault Squads supported with speeders.
coupled with a Jetpack chappy, it could be fun.
Blessed Be the Warriors, Take the fight to Them, Flesh O'er Steel.
Fly in, Follow up with warriors to shread them.
See, but don't be seen, Take the fight to them, Flesh over steel.
Could get ugly. Combat by turn two, use assault squads for backup. Take six tactical squads, maxed out, Get a command squad, a Chapter master, and some veterans. You can start with your entire army nearly in pistol range. Ho-rah.
If you have your hear truly set on black templar, Eh. Take all the power weapons you can.
