I can't believe I never noticed this rule. This is a very very cool rule for the Sisters, basically a 5+ save against pyschic powers, even to the point of negating an area effect, that's just freaking awesome. Plus no minor pyschic powers affect them, the Sisters were already really freaking cool and then I go re-read my codex and now they're even freaking cooler. Awesome. [end rant]
I find it doesn't come into play often though.
It actually would come in handy vs elder, and tzeentch. Remember, tzeentch great psychic potential, and the elder powers are the deadliest ever. (I'll never get over mind war!) The save can come into play, and it's great because it's free!
Yeah the Sheild of Faith is awesome. For free you can save against psyicic powers (this is especially good as WH as your enemies can get free pysicic powers that can be nasty) which is good against Eldar and Tzeench. But the best part is Force Weapons are only counted as power weapons. Its a really nasty suprise for those Marine Librarians who show up weilding one of those, only to find out they are preety much usless. And then you whop him back with your Rosarius-equpped, Blessed Weapon weilding Cannones, using Hand of the Emperor, who is charging. 4 Strength 7 mastercrafted power weapon attacks? Yes please!
