I have a small army of Ultramarines consisting of one nine man tactical squad with flamer and rocket launcher, one ten man squad with the same thing, purity seals and auspex, a librarian, and a land raider. I have 30$ to spend. I'm looking for some space marine players to give some advice on what to get next. Thanks.
Sell these on eBay and buy anything else.
Or save up and buy a terminator squad to go with that LR you have.
Three Companies of the 26th Vinancium
143rd Airborne Badgers (99.9% done)
159th Corsair Rifles (35% done))
69th Armored Wall Busters (95% done)
Total 197 men, 12 tanks, 4 Heavy Artillery Pieces
...maybe a dreadnaught...or a command squad for your HQ. You could get a predator to support your land raider and have it act mainly as a transport instead of multitasking with its weapons. Either way I suggest an elite or heavy support choice.
Can't go wrong with more marines, I'd suggest you buy some more basic troops, and then start deciding where it is your army is lacking, Anti-tank? Anti-hoard?
The golden rule: never put a flamer and a missile launcher in the same squad
I need the bugger so I can see!
I would put some bikes or landspeeders in there to increase your army's mobility and some assault marines. Since you have $30.00 to spend I would go for the assault marines first.
You call those cheap implants boobs?
They aren't boobs, they're lies!
I would buy either some scouts, or I would get a squad of assault marines.
<(^^)> <(^^<) (>^^)> ^(^^)^ Dance Kirby! Dance!
Maybe a Rhino or an Assault squad.
Warhammer Fantasy: Warriors of Chaos, High Elves
Warhammer 40k: Eldar, Space Marines, Orks
i would suggest a dreadnought or bikes
the dreadnought because it can choose from a variety of weapons depending on the situation
and the bikes cause of their raised toughness and there ability to get into cc fast
