Guys I was tinking around my BA codex and I saw the good old Vet Assault suqad entry. Can anyone tell me something about them since I've never used them and I never see ANYONE using them.
1)Why does no one use them?
2)If I do use them, how do you outfit them? they have a huge range of weps...
3)Will their pts cost be modified in 4th Ed? I hope so.
4)What skills are they likely to get for 4th Ed?
I kjnow that qu3 and 4 are merely guesses but I'd be happy if you gave it a try.
Any modifications would be found in the BA FAQ on the GW site. There is a link to it in the pinned thread at the top of the forum. I can tell you though, that the opnly skill they get is furious charge, like all BA.

Efficiency VS Point Cost VS Ease Of Use - Your best bets:
1) Chaplain led Assault squad - 2 plasma pistols, powerfisted sergeant
2) 8 man Devastator squad - 4 missile launchers
3) Land Speeder Tornado - HB + AC
The reason no one takes them is there points didnt change with the new codex and paying the extra point makes no sence since we don't get an option of taking additional traits since the FAQ says we only get furious charge. Still if you don't mind making your squad expensive, you can give 'em all terminator honours and tool them up. However in any game where you care about the outcome, points would be better spent elsewhere.
