From the lnew news letter
pretty nice xeno mounts really like them.
Those guys look really good... wish I could afford Forgeworld
One thing though, what's with the spiky saddle pommel? Looks like if the mount reared up the rider would get impaled.
For some reason, I just thought of a tarantum rider (from Star Wars) when I looked at that.
Heeyyy...there's an idea for Valhallan Rough Riders.
Personally, I think it looks kinda silly. Then again, I'm quite partial to the Cadian biker Rough Riders, and think the cavalry look silly in 40K, but that's just me.

Mech Tau Cadre: 2000 points, needs paint and magnets.
Paladins of Avalon (SW):-1500 points, needs paint.
Does that mount look like it can rear up?Originally Posted by robotnik
IMO if it was rearing up, its going to fall onto the rider. *Squish*
For steering probabaly use slight pushes with his legs to let the creature know where he wants it to go. Or the creature listens to him.
Either way, nice model.

When I say jump you don't ask me 'How high?' maggot! You jump!
i dont really like the mount, its not spiky or toothy enough for my prefernces, but then i would like to mount rough riders on velociraptors
they are quite cool i suppose, just not to my taste.
They look great, undoubtedly madly expensive when they're released
The cadian rough rider bikers were great, I wish they'd do something like the outriders from the gaunt's ghosts series, I imagined them as like 3 wheeled bikes with the front wheel chopper style
