Ok, I have 3 land raiders, and they're going in an army, but I don't know how to use them.
A: What upgrades shall I give them?
B: Who shall I put in them? Terminators with assault cannons? Tac squads with close combat weapons?
P.S. Why are people's signatures not showing up?

I would say that a pintle mounted storm bolter could be useful if you plan to use it as a transport and HK missile if you want to use one as a firing platform. One thing I definately recommend is a Terminator Assault Squad: They're insane in close combat but so hard to get in there (regular movement stops them from doing what they do best), a large TA squad in a Crusader would be amazing (run them up with all guns blazing (or most guns) then assault ramp them into close combat and watch the massacre.
To be honest, unless your playing mega-sized games, or running a DW army, 3 LR's is total overkill.
Are they standard LR's or Crusaders or some other varient? The standard LR just doesn't cut it, but the crusader is another matter. At least that packs the kind of fire power that you want a transport to have (ie anti-infantry) before your marines then leap out and mop up.
If you want to use them, then your going to be lacking in *decent* heavy support. If your using them to move marines about, then your not firing their weapons, just leaving you with incredibly expensive transports.
They can be used as bunkers for your assault guys/command squad. It can move 6" and fire all it's weapons (1 of the lascannons is bs2 due to machine spirit, but still.) And when the enemy comes close you can zoom forward 12" and assault them. That's an effective assault range of 20" (Y) But 3 of them is way to much, maybe you can sell one or two of them? Are they painted/assembled? If not you can get a good price.

I have two Land Raiders and I hardly ever use one of them. I'd say keep them, get all your friends round and have a mega battle with 3 Land Raiders. That would be fun.
On the subject of Land Raiders, at GW today me and another guy were musing over the idea of having a Space Hulk variant with 5 Land Raiders against loadsa Carnifexes (using Epic models). If anyone has a large collection of Epic figures try it out. You use a blend of 40k and Space Hulk rules for it.
