Hello, I play Nids now and am looking to start a new army after the realease of the new Tyranid boxed set. I have been looking at guard, mainly beacause I like the basilisk, and wouldn't mind running around a tank with 3 heavey bolters on it to bring down lots of orks and Tau. But I also want to play an army that is very unique and have been thinking Grey Knights and Sisters of battle. What I was wondering is if how well Knights and sisters intergrate into an imperial guard army as allies, or if I would be more unique trying to play demonhunters or witchhunters and trying to get a basilisk that way? Sorry I don't have any of the codexes and don't really know if I can even mix units that way; I just heard that it is possible with allies. THanks.
I haven't played with either in my army, but i have been reading here for almost 6 months now and from what i can remember most IG players would rather pick hordes of cheap IG troops over one expensive Grey Knight or Sisters Squad.

Imperial Guard Base, with WH as Allies.
IMO, grey knights are good, but what i like abuot WH is their close to med range mass firepower. IG has the long ragner superiority.
Lack in hth? Wh has some crazy hth behemoths... the arcos and the penitents.
You would have mass guard, and also mass power armour. what fault is taht XD?~!
If you want strength over numbers ally with Grey Knights.
A Witch Hunters Army w/ masses of IG troops is effective, too.
