A friend of mine is fielding a space marine army, he has the old terminators and is wondering if he'll have to exchange the old bases with the bigger base size to have a legitimate Terminator Squad, because we've been reading in the rules that you may not put models on smaller bases but may put them on bigger bases. We're getting paper cuts and confused from flipping through the rule book... help our cause please.
...stupid glue :realmad:
Rulebook says you may not mount models on bases smaller than the ones they were supplied with.
Your old terminators were supplied with small bases, yes? Therefore that's perfectly permissable - no need to go hacking off bases at all. ^_^
All the old Specialist Games resources are currently being uploaded at the Tactical Command forums, and you can find them here: http://www.sg.tacticalwargames.net/fanatic/.
i have the rule book and have read nothing about this im not sure but if that was true it would have to be a rule book newer then the new modles because they give you small bases.
its like when games-workshop say your not allowed to play with unpainted modles
This has already been discussed...a little before the new models came out i think.
anyways, NO you don't have to change the bases of older models, so the small ones are fine.
Hope Is The First Step On The Road To Dissapointment.
