I am looking for information on how to defeat Eldar (Beil-Tan). here is what I have collected:
Hellhounds are your friend, as they negate his Conceal saves. They also negate the saves of many aspect warriors.
Ratlings sometimes kill Wraithlord and pin Guardians.
Ignore his Wraithlord for a turn or two and use your heavier firepower to bring down bigger threats, like transports full of Banshees or the like.
Seer council can wreck havoc against, men as well as tanks. So take them out as quickly as possible, make them take many saves, but don't use intent kill as they have a great save.
Brightlances reduce the armourvalue of your tanks to highest 12. Tanks will be in trouble; use ordnace and try to pin and kill the guardians equipped with these weapons.
Keep your own troops in cover and make Eldar come to you, that is our advantage.
Chimeras with a platoon command squad with 4 flamers can be an effective combination.
droptrooper doctorine with a 5 man veteran squad with 3 plasmas is great at killing warpspiders, scorpions or wraithguards.
Buy dozerblade for your heavy tanks, starting out of sight then driving them into cover on the first turn.
Use Improved comms if using any drop troops.
This is what I have gathered from this forum (don't know any other)... And any additions or expirience with these tactics would be great! I am thinking about making an tactica about this, but I don't think I am good enough... Well goodday

Well first off, Biel-Tan do not take seer councils(Thats Ulthwe), they can take "The Court of the Young King" which is an Avatar and several Exarchs (Vet. Sgts.).
But besides that from my experiences fighting Eldar of many types Heavy Bolters tend to be the bane of both guardians and aspect warriors (which Biel-Tan has in spades), and Falcons and Wave Serpents can be truly annoying to kill so are sometimes better ignored.
Other than that i would need more information on what type of specific armies you tend to play and what the composition of said armies is.
Biel-Tan don't take "Seer Council's," per se, but they can take a farseer and five warlocks as an HQ choice. Since Biel-Tan won't have many guardians to put the Warlocks with, they could use this as a dedicated CC squad (which my Biel-Tan playing friend does to great effect). It would be good to keep anti-seer coulcil/psyker tactica in mind regardless of what sort of Eldar you play against.Originally Posted by Seraphim Incarnae
I particularly would like to second the idea of popping the wave serpents and ignoring the wraithlords for a turn or two. Missle Launcher's will drop the serpent and sniper+lascannon fire will drop the Wraithlord once you begin targeting them. Your tanks won't last long, so you might want to consider a)keeping them slightly away from your own troops (should they explode, you don't want to be too close) and b) setting them where they will block lines of sight in beneficial ways for you.
Im an eldar Xeno-fighter you see, so i know that battle cannon rounds can put some serious smack down on eldar. they seem to have plenty of 3+ saves but not much, if any 2+. so bomb the mejule outofem!!!!!!
