    Penitent engine

Three questions: has anyone tried them against tyrannids? If so, how do they fare? And I don't see anything about "each box contains 1 random model" on the GW online store. Are both penitent bodies included in the box or do you get a random one?

    Thanks!

    Phil

    Your answers...

I haven't actually tried it, but as far as I know Penitant Engines do just fine against 'nids. This would probabley depend on who you face them off against. Best to send the forward and tie up the hordes of gaunts (and maybe 'stealers) while your sisters take out the big nasties.

The Penitant engine is 1 for $40 (Aus). I'm sure it has a random pilot, and arms models - but I think thats the only variation between boxes.

Just make sure that you don't charge squads that could outnumber you, each Engine only counts as 5 models so you have to be careful.

I think almost every squad in 'nids will outnumber a Penitent Engine unless you do some serious shooting first.

Remember that penitent engine would have to be outnumbered 2:1 (easily likely against nids), but also has to lose combat (very unlikely against smaller creatures unless they were mutated with rending claws or some such, if that's even possible), so against smaller creatures, it's not something to worry about too much.
