What about fielding three exorcists? That would be, I guess, 3D6 missiles per turn, OK, maybe you just fire three, but, on the other side, you might end up with 18 missiles! And the average per turn should be around 10-11 missiles!!

Is there any better option than this for heavy support?

Yeah- a retributor squad in an Immolator. Exorcists are cool, but too many of them really aren't that useful. I use them to take down the occasional tank, but mostly just to try to disrupt my opponents' plans (my opponents try to keep out of sight of the Exorcist. 3 is too many, 1-2 is a pretty good number.

See, it's time like this when I wish I had MOD POWERS in the Sisters or Necron forums. Baleeted!
Back on topic... Exorcists seem to be better when facing armies of Space Marines, where that AP 3 can come into play, but against armies like Tyranids and IG troops, I would use Immolators. Cheaper (I think) and they can really cook up a squad quickly.

OK I like the idea of exorcists (and I have seen people use the GW whirlwind as one) but..
They never last, you play with them once and they brake (not literally), the rhino armour, coupled with the general absence of any vehicles in a sister army means they draw las cannon fire like abadon in a bikini after infiltrating by himself to the middle of the board, it exceeds their own capacity to kill which can not be relied on due to the random number of missiles. As such the only dependable tactic as some one pointed out is really to disrupt your opponents plan/deployment and this probably wont last beyond the second turn. At 100 points I consider this to be a waste when I could have 10 more nuns with guns

they are really the most useful vs. Marines and necrons, especially variants such as salamanders or death guard who have little anti-tank.

I would narrow down the filed smaller than that, pretty much anything in a necron army can wipe them, they are best against high cost, high armour troops with no abti vehicle capability, Probably the odd maring chapter/liegon. They are also probably far better in 40K in 40 mins where they are in the armour range and against something like 13th company, the absence of any long fangs would allow them to play merry hell
