    Hellhound kit

I recently parted with £20 to get my guard a hellhound (but typical me, I built a Chimera instead  ) and I was wondering why the kit includes the space marine tank accessory sprue and not the new one?

    Thanks.

That's the old guard accessory sprue, which is a million times less cool than the current one. I got the same one with my hellhound. Either we both got old kits, or GW just never got around to updating the hellhound box.

I love the old missile launcher. That boxy one- it's a keeper. Will save it for that special tank lmfao. But yeah, other than that it is pretty sucky, although the improved comms aerial doesn't look as breakable as the new one. The bulldozer blade rocks also.

Will have to buy another hellhound just for that alone!

True, now that I think about it, the missile launcher does look alot better than the new one, though it is more akward to mount, and I also like the older hatch style better too, but the new sprue just has so much stuff on it, particularly the heavy stubber. I like the sturdier build of the current dozer blades, but to each his own.

It's those nasty spikes that I love!
And I love the heavy stubber too- despite the fact most of my tanks have storm bolters. I don't have a clue what that shotgun like thing is with the old accessory sprue, though, so I shoved a heavy stubber ammo box in it instead of that tiny crappy ammo box that you're meant to mount on it.
