I read in a post about deep striking a melta land speeder to take out a LR, and i was just wondering where the rules for deep striking vehicles could be found. I have to rule book but i cant find it in there or the space marine codex. It seems to me that deep striking should count as a 24 inche move and that the speeder wouldnt be able to fire when it first came in. But ide like to know for sure so if any can let me know where i can find out that would be awesome.
alas its alowed (or at least was in the old marine codex) to deep stirke and shoot as the things only count as moving 6" so glanceing hits only and shooting as it lands... many a russ has gon back on the shelf from that trick....
[I]"See? Lasguns can take anything. Drop it, throw it in the swamp, use it as a club, and it still...uh oh."
testing the new SA80 lasgun....
its a nice trick, but i lost the multi melta dude 4 my speeder

you must use the normal deep strike rules so you can fire every thing when you deepstrike. it countĀ“s as a 6" movement so they get only glancing hits against you.
DonĀ“t mess with the dicegod
If its counted as a 6" move, then all penes would still be penes, as they only get reduced to glances if you moved more than 6". Just wanted to point this out.
