I'm pretty new to 40k, having only played a few times (certainly <10). A friend of mine wants to play this week and I thought up a list to use. I'll be learning to play, but I can generally think out my basic strategy, even in games I'm new to. So here's what I came up with, the strategy should be pretty evident:

Point total is exactly 1500 points. I'd like to hear some constructive criticism on how this army is designed. I'd also like some ideas on how to play it. Like I said, I can formulate a good idea of how to play it, but the only real way to be informed about a ruleset is to see the rules in action. Thanks!

Welcome to daemonhuntes. Its always good to see new people joining the ordo malleus. Your army looks fun to play, and deepstriking greyknights is always a good way to go.
Also, you might think of posting this in the army list forum to generate more responses.
That said, your army is very heavy on terminators. A plasma heavy force (especially varieties of space marine and eldar) would love to fight you. 620 pts on terminators is a lot (ofcourse deathwing lists are all terminators but they are a different animal altogether). Personally I prefer a more balanced approach. More FAGK and PAGK (Fast Attack Grey Knights and Power Armoured Grey Knights) squads seem better than a terminator squad. Remember that regular grey knights also get 2 S6 attacks in cc, because of true grit (this equals the terminators 2). They have worse armour but cost half as much and can take two special weapons in their squads. For me this means more psycannons.
Also, why the teleport homer on the grandmaster, as your terminator squad is not too geared for deepstriking? If you want to deepstrike why the psycannon (you'll waste shots in turns you're not on the board and psycannons are expensive)? Maybe an incinerator would be cheaper for the elite terminator squad. This would also leave points for searchlights and smoke launchers for the LRC, and/or sacred incense for the grandmaster. Also LRC automatically come with extra armour.

It is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong.
Who are you to judge what is sane and what is not??
I agree with my friend above. A plasma loving army could finish you in a turn. I suggest playing a few games and the holes in your list will become apparent. One thing for sure you will want is some Inquistorial storm troopers, if for no other reason then to fill troop slots in order to use your grey knights to deep strike.
Comments above look nice. Also if you want the psycannon, give it to the master, I know it costs 5 points more, but he'll hit more often. Put 1 incinerator in the retineu so you'll have somethin against both mass army's and against the rest. You also could try to give a termy the Thunder Hammer & Strom Shield stuff, it work especially against biggies like the Tyranids and other multiple wound stuff. And you might want to remove the LRC and add 1 dread with plasma cannon and missile launcher for anti infantry and use the extra points to get more PAGK/FAGK and lighten up on the termy's a bit, I use only 1 termy more in 3000 points, but it's your call. FAGK, geared basic with a TH and melta bombs on the justicar are a nice and cheap unit, if you can get as much TH on the DS troops, you can all get them together after the first turn they land, look really dangerous, but it'll keep them alive since they got a lot more targets, and if you keep the LRC they'll have to much major targets to fire at, that'll confuse them and the DS troops will survive anyways.

The list has been removed. Army lists go in the army list forum please.
