I am looking for a space marine unit that wil be able to harrass the enemy from behind and make him think about what he shoots at.
Here are the limitations.
No Drop pods
And i am hesitant to use deep strike.
I like the idea a a squadron of 3 Tornados and a squad of assault marines working together
WHile i use the Cheapness of tactical marine weapons as my devastators and any leftovers will be put into a squad with special weapons.
What do you guys recomend. And are the typhoons worth it. I mean the weapon kinda sucks.
The role your speaking of is unqiuely made for Wolf scouts. They enter as reinforcments on the oppoents side of the table.
Three Companies of the 26th Vinancium
143rd Airborne Badgers (99.9% done)
159th Corsair Rifles (35% done))
69th Armored Wall Busters (95% done)
Total 197 men, 12 tanks, 4 Heavy Artillery Pieces
No i would send the guys up the sides hideing behind cover and i would give my enemy a destraction such as 3 small squads and a devastator full to the bust with heavy weapons blasting. I dont play space wolves shold have clerified that.
i love assault marines but i find that by deep striking them my opponet focuses everything against them and if i use Bikes they arent effective enough in cc.
I like the look of land speeders so i want to use them even if they suck. Definetly the tornado ones as the regular ones are way to expensive for their points.
