ok, i guess they're not really "Ruff Riders".
more like guys with jump packs and power spears.
made from cadian plastics and the spear sprue of high elf spearmen (and chaos rebreathers).
planning on adding some metal wire to the spear head to give it a more "power" look.
and perhaps a 3rd "jet" to the middle top of the backpack (from SM rebreather).
in a tourny i'd putty them on calvary bases (to avoid any legalities). but in a friendly game no one would care around here laid back bunch
oh and before anyone say "they look a lil fancy dancy for IG"
the fluff is that this unit is composed primarly of the sons of the aristocratic class.

Cool Conversion. Since they are so unique (and have spears) as long as you say that they are rough riders at the beginning of a game, it should be really easy to tell.
Where's your Baritone Saxophone?
Yeah they look really cool! You should post pics when they are painted.
Woah. Good work there.
I personally though would want my Rough Riders on bikes, not the big bulky SM/Orc bikes, but more like the ones in the Cuhnversion Klinik on the UK site. A pity the converstion kit they sell cost loads.
I've often thought that i'd could just buy the cadian shock troop box and a dark elf sprue for the lances and then go look in some toystore for a bike that fits the scale. Would save me alot of money.
I reakon they look really cool. If i ever go some rough riders i would probly put them on some kind of bike or robotic steed. Dont know how id do that though?
By day he fought with sword and shield.....
By night he fought with pen and parchment.....

Nice Job BoxAnt,
It definately would fit my "Elite" Guard Army as well, the Horses just never fit.

Nice figs BoxANT I'd love to see them when they get painted.
I gonna have to disagree with you guys about the horses not fitting. I think that the horses look cool, not that bikers or jet pack look bad but they just aren't my style, however the rough rider models that GW sells look stupid. So I went and got a box of High Elf Calvary and converted them using Cadians. Plus I think having a unit of calvary on the battle field is pretty funny, but its even funnier when they take down some big unit.
