just make sure you put dozer blades on all your tanks. and tank shock alot.
Nah, he's probably thinking how to use them as say IDF in any of the previous "wars" they've fought in. For one thing, female soldiers is important, as Israel has a universal draft. You'll want lots of Hardened Vets to represent elite units of Haganah/Irgun, and maybe give the commanders Uzis for Storm Bolters.
Why would it be controversial?? He did'nt even mention anything about terrorists! If anything YOUR making it controversial. I suppose my U.S. Army themed army would also be 'controversial' to you too now would'nt it?? Take your political correctness elsewhere man.Originally Posted by The_Giant_Mantis
what magicjuggler says sounds good, id recommend giving them Die-Hards just cause they are always outnumbered(and they still win). maybe hardened fighters or sharpshooters. other possibles would be grenadiers to represent them being good fighters. now if there was only a doctrine for having a world superpower backing you up.

There is nothing wrong with making an Israli based army. I believe the original poster was meaning in looks / desert fighting etc... Its pure looks, not based upon the actions / crimes of the RL Israli govenment.

Well can't you make them allied with space marines? That would somewhat give the idea.Originally Posted by SnipeHunter

I don't know much about the Isreali military, but I do know that area is all dry and deserty, and that they do a lot of city fighting, which means snipers and hit & run type stuff. That in mind I'd say use Tallarn as a model. I guess this would be contraverisal though if you where in certain areas of the world. Since such an army is possibly very offensive to some people, my advice would be to not do it at all, but if the Nazi army thread has taught me anything, it's that you're going to anyways.
